IMPORTANT NOTICE: DECEMBER'S OLIVET DAY HAS BEEN MOVED TO FRIDAY, DECEMBER 19!

Olivet Day is a day offered to our students by the parents of Olivet.  All classes offered are arranged and/or taught by parents and older students voluntarily.  None are considered assigned job responsibilities although consideration is shown whenever possible.

Parental participation and supervision is required.  This is not an opportunity to drop your child off and leave to do errands.  Whereas it is a wonderful day for the children and the parents to socialize among themselves, it is the parent's responsibility to know where their children are and to assure that all Olivet rules are adhered to by the children.

Classes range from the arts to physical fitness to academic.  The grade range is K - 12th.  This year there are more than 30 classes from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. for our students to participate in!

IMPORTANT CHANGES

There are some important changes that all who participate in Olivet Day need to be aware of in order to not miss something!
Starting in the 2008/2009 school year, only Olivet enrolled students may participate in Olivet Day classes. 

 

Olivet Day Class Expenses

Whereas most classes are either free or a minimal charge to cover expenses, there are times that classes have a more substantial charge.  An example is Oxbow Science Lab; the charge was $25 per student for the year.  This is money well spent for what the child receives.

There is an additional charge for each child that is participating in at least one Olivet Day class.  This covers the love offering to the church as well as the payment to our cleanup staff.  The participation fee $20 per child.  There are no refunds provided for withdrawals.
